The decision of GJKKO on Berisha is clarified: the measures against the former
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha

The decision of the Special Court on the measure against the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who is currently facing charges of corruption and abuse of office related to the privatization of the former Partizani complex in the capital, was revealed today.

GJKKO has stated that the measures against Berisha do not constitute deprivation of liberty, contrary to what the former head of government has repeatedly claimed.

According to the reasoning, there is no need to request authorization from the Assembly for this measure.

Berisha has been ordered to appear in court twice a month, and he has been banned from traveling outside Albanian territory.
