Italian 28-year-old man killed with kitchen knife, arrested

The Carabinieri of spoleto company, at the conclusion of the investigation conducted by the Public Prosecution in the Spoleto Court, arrested the suspected killer of the 28-year-old Italian.

The arrested man is a 42-year-old of Albanian origin with previous criminal precedents.

The 42-year-old, now known to police, on the evening of Saturday, July 20, at around 9pm, at the height of a dispute under his house for banal reasons, appears to have struck in the chest with a kitchen knife, a 28-year-old Italian man residing in Spoleto, also with criminal precedent.

The young man died in hospital due to severe injuries.

The immediate investigative activity in the area, which has lasted throughout the night and continues, has enabled the immediate reconstruction of dynamics and identification of the suspected person as responsible.

Technical investigations launched in the early stages after the murder, were entoured to the Carabinieri of the Scientific Investigations Section of perugia's Operations Department for obtaining all sources of evidence considered useful.

The gun allegedly used to hit the victim was seized while the body was transferred to the Perugia institute for an autopsy.

All prominent stages of the crime were coordinated by the acting magistrate of the Public Prosecution of Spleetto, who intervened at the scene and is still personally conducting investigative actions together with the Carabinieri personnel.
