Police are 27,000, more than 3,000 are wrong foregoings

The State Police said it has imposed 27,000 fines and revoked 145 permits for various violations.

What is apparent on the police balance is that nearly half of the fines are imposed for the wrong parking lot. The number of penalties for wrong overheads, 3434 such as speeding above the norms, is also high, with 7 thousand fines.

Intensive monitoring by road policing services across the country.

In order to identify and punish violations that are the source of road accidents, mobile patrols have been added, using intelligent speeding tools, polyscans, automatic radars, high-quality drones, drags and telescopes.

Special teams of the Road Police are scheduled to serve the Llogara Tunnel, which is monitored around the clock with cameras and speed meters, to prevent the violation of road traffic rules during tunnel traffic.

As a result of monitoring in all road axes and urban centres, during one week:

- suspension of 145 driving licences for speeding above the permitted rates, for driving the vehicle in the effect of alcohol/drunken state and for driving in reverse sense;

38 drivers were arrested, including for driving drunk and driving without a driving license.

Also, 27,558 administrative measures have been put in place across the country, of the following:

. 7098 for speed exceeding permitted rates;
. 1234 for mobile phone use while driving;
. 1456 for not wearing seat belts;
. 3434 for wrong passages;
. 387 for non-establishing of the protective casket;
. 226 for dangerous maneuvers on the road;
. 289 on the direction of the vehicle, on the effect of alcohol;
. 11345 for parking.
. 2089 for other offences.

Road Policing Services will continue intensive monitoring on all urban, interurban and rural roads, using intelligent tools and modern logistical base available, in order to increase road safety parameters.

The Road Police appeals to all drivers of vehicles and motor vehicles, to strictly enforce the road traffic rules, to use alternative roads, to stand in line when there is slowing the movement of vehicles in cases of influx, to give priority to pedestrians and not to perform wrong passes or dangerous manoeuvres in urban centers and national axes.

Truck drivers also strictly enforce movement restrictions, during weekends and official holidays.

In order to increase the parameters of road safety, the State Police invites citizens to denounce the free number 112, any case of violation of road traffic rules.
