Gangsters serving a sentence in British jails have claimed they paid female prison officers up to £2000 for sex in their prison cells.

The allegations have come to light after a series of messages between prisoners and former criminals in a TikTok chat broadcast from a prison cell.

An Albanian ex-convict claimed: 'We Albanians have had sex with female prison officers for £2000.'

Albanian Eugert Merizaj, who is serving a 32-year prison sentence for his role in the brutal shooting of a drug rival, boasts that he had "connected one jailer to another prisoner".

He also claimed he tried to avoid meetings to have sex with prison staff with the intention of not adding years to prison, the investigation said.

Merizaj also spoke about how female guards entered his room to wake him up for breakfast and searched his room.

The new charges follow shocking footage released in June which allegedly shows a female prison officer at HMP Wandsworth having sex with an inmate in his cell.

Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, has been charged with having sex with an inmate at the prison.

She appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court, where she was granted a conditional discharge and will appear for a plea and management hearing on July 29 at Isleworth Crown Court.
