The perpetrator of the murder in the village of Vidishtë, Roskovec, Nertil Buzi , who is still on the run, claims to have lost an amount of 730 thousand pounds due to the family of his ex-partner.

Fugitive and with a shotgun in his possession, 35-year-old Nertil Buzi appears crying and says that his ex-partner's family members are to blame for the loss of this money.

"They have made me, they have taken 730 thousand pounds from me," he is reported to have said.

This morning he shot and killed his former father-in-law, 55-year-old Arben Plaka , and injured his former mother-in-law, Belere Plaka .

He then fled the scene, taking his ex-partner hostage, whom he released a few hours later, after RENEA forces surrounded the area.

Numerous police forces, members of the Special Operations Force, the National Security Force (RENEA), the Rapid Intervention Force (FNSH) and the Fier Local Police Directorate are continuing the extensive operation in the village of Çerven, on the border with Mallakastra, near the village of Drenie, to capture the 35-year-old man who killed his ex-father-in-law this morning.

The operation is focused on the area where it is suspected that the perpetrator may be hiding, while intensive checks are continuing from the ground and drones from the air.

The police remain in pursuit of the perpetrator, while appealing for the cooperation of citizens and requesting that any valuable information be immediately reported to law enforcement agencies.
