The police have issued an official communiqué regarding the assassination recorded today at noon in Shkodër, where Petrit Vuksani was executed with a firearm inside his apartment.

The Blues of the northern capital state that they have set up checkpoints and are conducting checks to catch the perpetrator.

Petrit Vuksani was alone in the apartment when the perpetrator entered and shot him several times with a firearm, leaving him dead on the spot. It is learned that about 1 month ago he had returned from England.

It is suspected that the perpetrator shot him with a pistol with a silencer, since the gunshots were not heard by the 51-year-old's neighbors. The motives of the crime are still unclear.

Around 12:15, in the "Tom Kola" neighborhood, under still unclear circumstances, a 51-year-old PV citizen was shot dead in his apartment.

The Police Services and the investigative team immediately went to the scene.

Checkpoints have been set up and control is being exercised in the area to catch the suspected perpetrator.

The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing the work to clarify the circumstances of the event, as well as to secure any evidence, in order to identify and catch the perpetrator.
