Joy Sulovari

The relatives of the two missing people in Saranda, Fatmir Sulovari (Krasniqit) and Leonard Theodhori, known as "Koçole", have spoken to the media after the meeting they had with the Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku.

Fatmir Sulovari's brother, Gëzim Sulovari, said that the protests will be stopped as they believe that the investigations are on the right track. After communicating with the chief police officer, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, the family members say that they have hope that they will at least search for their bodies.

He further said that his brother did not have any conflict and that with the other missing Leonard Thodhori, known as 'Koçolja', they were known, but not friends.

"We want to find the bodies and take them home. The police told us; we will start the research very soon. They gave me no hope. They told me that we are on the way, the investigations are continuing. We have left it to the State Police. I am Fatmir's brother. I believe we clarified with the police. My meeting with my brother was on the 6th. It was a normal meeting. A friend picked it up on the phone. There have been no problems.. We have had no problems up to this point. We have no doubt. Leonard was familiar. They were acquaintances, not friends. I myself, as Gëzim, have not known Leonard. I don't know what land it is about. We heard rumors that they could be in Vrina" , he said.

Sulovari and Theodhori have been missing since April 6 in Saranda and are suspected to have been kidnapped and executed by a criminal group in the village of Vrina due to the disruption of drug deals.

Only one person was arrested in connection with this incident. It is about Sofokli Baxheri, who has a commercial activity in Sarandë, which deals mainly with the purchase, lease and sale of real estate.

From the investigations, it has emerged that the 28-year-old is the man who found the house for rent in the village of Nivicë in Himara, where the "Benz-Mercedez" type car, with which Fatmir Sulovari was kidnapped in Saranda, was later found. It is learned that Sofokli Baxheri took the people to the premises of the house in Nivica and left.

Sources indicate that the young man initially started to speak in front of the police, but then withdrew from cooperation, as he feared a possible revenge from the members of the criminal group, who kidnapped and killed Fatmir Sulovar and Leonard Theodhori.

He gave a contradictory testimony in front of the investigation group, stating that he had rented the house to a person who lived abroad. No notarial deed was performed between them, as according to him everything was performed verbally.

But the police and the prosecutor's office of Saranda are convinced that it was in this house that the members of the criminal group who committed the murder of two people and the placement of the tritol in the apartment of the builder Afëz Kulla stayed, this event happened on December 5, 2022 in Saranda .
