In the next hearing against the accused for the murder of Nezir and Gentian Beqiri, father and son, in 2012 in Elbasan, including Ardian and Florenc Çapja, the Special Court heard the testimony of the defendant Klajdi Dokoli.
The 30-year-old said that he had never met Gentian Beqiri and that he learned of his murder from television. "I don't understand why I'm here. I am sick and I continue chemotherapy", said Dokoli.
He added that he had never had problems with justice: "I have never gone to the scene because I am not a police investigator. I heard Etien Cani as a name when I was 10-12 years old, when we played football between schools. I don't know if it's the same person. I do not know Olsi Leku and Ervis Bardhi. I heard the name of Ardian Çapjas for the first time on the show "Opinion" on KLAN, when journalists published a photo of him with the prime minister. I worked for a period at the car coalition, people would give me the documents and I would hold the queue, or with someone I knew, I would enter their car without queuing. For this I received 500-3000 ALL. At that time I remember that a document with the name of Florenc Çapjas fell into my hands, but I have never seen his face, I have never recognized him".
According to SPAK, Dokoli has been monitoring the entrances and exits to the palace where Gentian Neziri lived, information that he conveyed to the Çapja family.
The murder of father and son in August 2012 in Elbasan shocked public opinion, because Gentian Beqirit was under "house arrest" and with police officers at the door, when the perpetrators entered the house and killed him and his father, Nezir Beqiri.
The incident came to light 8 years later after Ervis Bardhi, suspected of being Gentian Neziri's executioner, agreed to cooperate with justice. According to the investigation carried out by SPAK prosecutor Behar Dibra, the murder was ordered by Ardian and Florec Çapja, and Bardhi and Olsi Leka were paid 50,000 euros for it.
The motive for the murder was revenge, as the Çapajs suspected that Beqiri had participated in the murder of their brother and uncle.
