"...Etien Cani was like home...we had an order from the prosecutor not to let anyone into the house, because the boy was under "house arrest". But we had created a lot of trust in Etien... This one put my son in and... if the state doesn't do anything to him, I will strangle him with my own hands..." Behije Arapi asserted in court.

According to the elderly woman, on the day when the incident happened and she was returning to the apartment, she saw Etien Cani come out of the building and run away.

"... let him talk there that I will suffocate him with my hands, let him talk there, who put my only son in the ground... Others told me. For the double murder in Elbasan, the Special Court sentenced Ardjan Çapjan, Florec Çapjan and Olsi Lekun to life imprisonment. While the court sentenced Etien Cani and Klajdi Dokoli to 25 years in prison. As for the collaborator of the prosecution, Ervis Bardhi, the court gave a sentence of 15 years in prison.
