The Italian media have made public other details about Haxhi Collaku, the 55-year-old Albanian, who was shot dead by the Italian police on Friday.

He rammed a carabinieri with a van and then attacked him with a knife. The serious incident happened in the neighborhood where his ex-wife lived, who had denounced him for stalking.

Nuova Venezia has been banned from Albanian social networks.

"The rampages of Haxhi Çollak, the 55-year-old killed by gunfire from a carabinieri, today seem a tragic omen ," writes the Italian media.

A day before the tragedy, he had posted a photo of himself by the sea with his arms wide open. In it he wrote: Against me it is like walking into the sea.

He went on to say: Most of the Italian police confuse the lawn with the wall, but with me you will eat grass, or you will hit the wall with your head.

Among his comments were dark warnings.

"I taught you to count, now you will do the calculations for me", he wrote.

Just a few days before the event, he had given another warning.

"I don't want to prove anything, I want to show", he said.

He also posted vague posts in April, even more aggressive.

"I will take revenge, I hope to meet soon. Either with me, or against me", he wrote.

And in fact, Çollak's relationship with his social media page was troubled. Everything seems to point to a man exasperated by life, troubled and aggressive.

However, the Italian media has received the testimony of a person who has a different opinion about Çollak. It is about a former restaurateur from Padua, who had known the Albanian for 15 years.

And Çollaku had expressed himself with these words: The pain is part of me, I can no longer remove it. But people around me don't notice that.

Your friend said that Collaku had a great intelligence.

"The pilgrim is described as a monster, but he was a person of great intelligence and sensitivity. I don't know for what purpose he went to the neighborhood where his ex-wife and daughter live, I don't know the story with his ex-partner and I don't allow myself to say what is true or false", he says .

But according to the Albanian's friend, he suffered from the fact that he could not see his daughter.

"He had worked hard to bring his family from Albania to Italy," says his friend.

The Italian tells when he last saw him. It is about a year ago, while the Albanian was working in a garden.

"He told me that he had a partner, I think a Polish woman, but he always thought about the girl ", he says.

"He was a very private person, but his inner suffering was immediately visible," adds the Italian.

Çollak graduated in chemistry, while in Albania he worked as a mathematics teacher. He went to Italy by raft and according to his friend, he did various jobs to get his wife and daughter to Padua.

"At that time he lived in Arcella. He traveled only by bicycle because he had no money for a car. When he finally managed to bring his family, they rented a house," he said.

But the relationship did not last long and ended badly. Çollak was sentenced for mistreatment of his ex-wife.

"I have never seen a violent Hajj and I don't know what happened. I know that he suffered because he never saw the girl again and he repeated this over and over," concludes his friend.

On Friday, alerted by the call of the ex-wife of the 55-year-old, a carabinieri patrol arrived at the scene.

At the moment he was giving explanations, Haxhi Çollaku tried to leave, bumping into a 37-year-old police officer.

Then he got out of the car and shot him with a knife. It was the colleague of the wounded officer who opened fire at the 55-year-old Albanian.

As a result of his injuries, he died in the hospital after a few hours, while the carabinieri who was attacked by him is said to be in serious condition.
