Clashes between residents of Rrjoll and the police are becoming more and more violent, and the reason for this for almost a month has been the resort that builder and publisher Bashkim Ulaj is building in the area.

The residents claim that the land is their property and that the documents were forged, and a lengthy court process is still ongoing.

Residents try every day to hinder the works of Bashkim Ulaj's "Gener 2" company.

The latter, in order to protect the employees but also to guarantee the continuation of work at the construction site, has hired the private company "Breçani Security" , who have physically clashed with the residents.


As can be seen from the footage, one of the private security employees hired by Ulaj punched a young man who was protesting to protect his land.

This moment further tensed the situation, leading to clashes between residents and police. Officers escorted 6 residents of Rrjoll, including a girl, to the police station.
