Simon Toska, the 51-year-old who was serving his sentence in Fier prison, died today. According to the Police Directorate, Toska had health problems, so she was transported to the hospital, but unfortunately she died on the way.
Shocked by the sudden death of the 51-year-old, relatives in the village of Panahor in Mallakastra claim that the father of three children did not suffer from health problems. They claim that they received the news through a phone call in the early hours of this morning, where they were notified by the prison directorate.
" We had constant in and out, Simon was a very good boy, not that he passed away today, but with a lot of mouth. Simon had two parents, a sister and two brothers, the news came to us very bitter. It's a disaster, bitter news and for us as fellow villagers, he didn't suffer from any disease ", says a neighbor of the Toska family.
"We had the last contact 3 days ago, I brought him food and things, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison, I don't know exactly. At 4:30 in the morning they called us and told us that he was taken to the hospital without signs of life. He was the best boy in our tribe, he was not a problematic person. At the moment, the family has no doubts about the event", says one of Toska's family members.
"He was married with 3 children, two sons and a daughter. The nurse of the prison hospital called us, and they told her 'Simon left us'. None of the family members know anything further", says another resident of the village.
