She had been missing since October 22, 2025, after being seen in the city center. Today, January 15, the lifeless body of Albanian Floresha Prengu, 35 years old, a resident of Trento, was found 40 kilometers from her home along the Adige River.

The body was identified by family members, who until the end hoped for a different outcome.

Floresha Prengu, of Albanian origin and mother of two daughters, was last seen in Trento on October 22. Her traces were then lost.

"We hoped until the end that she was just scared and that she was somewhere, but unfortunately that was not the case. This is a difficult time for all of us, but we want to thank everyone who has been by our side and shared Flora's story," Floresha's family told Italian media. These words put an end to a painful story with a tragic outcome.

Family members' appeal to law enforcement

The family immediately contacted the police, asking them to contact 112 if they saw him.

In the days immediately following the disappearance, a large-scale search was organized in the city, using teams along the river, volunteer firefighters along the Adige River, and a helicopter for aerial verification, which yielded no concrete results. The search continued even outside the borders of Trento.

All Italian prefectures were notified of the disappearance. The news was also covered by Albanian media, which repeated the family's appeal: 'Let's help Floresha return home to her daughters'

Authorities are continuing investigations to uncover the full circumstances of the incident.
