The Special Court has declared Democratic Party MP Gazment Bardhi innocent.

Bardhi was sued for defamation by OSHEE in relation to a statement made on October 18 of last year, which stated that OSHEE had manipulated the percentage of electricity loss in the network.

For this statement, the leader of the DP group also filed a criminal complaint with SPAK on suspicion of abuse of office, and in Wednesday's session, prosecutor Anita Jella confirmed that a criminal proceeding has been registered and investigative actions are being carried out.

Another defamation trial is ongoing against Gazement Bardhi in the special court, this time by the former director of the Shkodra police, Edmond Sulaj.
