Arjon Hasaj has fully admitted that he is the author of the murder of citizen  Ramazan Mataj , an event that occurred on the evening of January 4 in the village of Dragoç, Postriba, Shkodra.

Hasaj has stated to the local police of Shkodra that he is the person who shot and killed 33-year-old Mataj, taking responsibility for the serious crime.

Meanwhile, the author's brother, citizen Klisman Hasaj, suspected of providing the conditions to commit the murder and hiding the crime weapon, has not admitted any charges against him, saying that he was unaware of his brother's actions and the fact that he was going to commit murder.

Arjon Hasaj has fully described the murder, which according to the author was caused by a relationship the victim had with his sister for at least 6 years.

" I am the person who killed citizen Ramazan Mataj. For 6 years he had a relationship with our sister. Ramazan is the person who has broken up two marriages of my sister in the last 6 years. He has told this story to many people in the village and beyond, while he is the person who divorced our sister twice. He has even shared some videos with her ex-second husband and other people in the village in intimate moments with my sister. I opened a fake Instagram account under the name of a girl and arranged a meeting with Ramazan Mataj. He came and there I shot him with a firearm. Then I hid the weapon a few meters away from the place where I killed him. After the murder, I left by bicycle towards the apartment. I have had the weapon at home for some time. My sister has not lived in our apartment for some time, she lived in Shkodra ," Hasaj is reported to have declared.

"I had no knowledge of the murder my brother would commit and I have no connection to that event," Klisman Hasaj, the perpetrator's brother, is reported to have stated.

After the serious incident, the local police of Shkodra conducted wiretaps in the Hasaj family's apartment.

During the wiretaps, the two brothers talked about the murder carried out by Arjon, and at one point it emerged that the main perpetrator, Arjon Hasaj, regretted hiding the weapon and went to retrieve it and bury it in the yard of the house for safekeeping.

After these wiretaps, the police arrested the two Hasaj brothers as suspected perpetrators of the murder of citizen Ramazan Mataj.

The police have also questioned other family members of the victim and the suspected perpetrator as they continue their work to fully unravel this serious incident.
