A serious incident occurred this evening in the village of Gjorm in Selenica, where a citizen was killed in the middle of the village.

The victim is Dalan Alliaj, 36 years old.

He was found without signs of life by his family.

"Today, in the village of Gjorm, Vlora, under still unclear circumstances, citizen Dalan Aliaj, 36 years old, resident of Fier, was found without signs of life by his family. From the preliminary actions, during the examination of the body, suspected wounds caused by a firearm were found.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is conducting an examination of the scene of the incident and all investigative actions to fully clarify and document this event, as well as to identify and apprehend the perpetrator ," the police announced.

He is said to be the son of Bertil Alliaj's uncle, who was involved in an incident in 2015, in what is known as the "Çola massacre". At that time, after a fight in a casino, 29-year-old Akil Hasanaj (previous name Haki Rakipi), 27-year-old Ardi Velaj (previous name Ferdian Velaj) and 21-year-old Albi Limaj were killed.

Police have cordoned off the area and have launched a search for the perpetrator of the crime, but it is still unknown what the reasons for the murder are.
