Xhemal Meta , an elderly man from the village of Qafë-Mollë in Tirana , was found murdered in gruesome circumstances, sparking shock in the local community.

According to the expertise, the 81-year-old had suffered a fatal blow to the head with a hard object, confirming that it was a murder.

Police have escorted around 20 residents of the area, who may have knowledge of the incident, while investigations are focused on uncovering the possibility of conflicts or other motives that may have led to this crime.

The elderly man, who lived alone in the village, as his family was in Tirana, was considered a quiet person and known for his simple lifestyle.

Authorities are continuing investigations to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime and to shed light on the circumstances of the incident.
