A serious incident was discovered this afternoon in neighborhood no. 4 of the city of Korça, where a 60-year-old citizen who lived alone was found dead, in an advanced state of decomposition.

According to preliminary information from the State Police, at around 11:30, the lifeless body of citizen PS, 60 years old, was found in the apartment where he lived alone.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to determine the exact cause and time of death, as well as to fully document the circumstances of the incident.

The victim's brother, who lives in Tirana, confessed off camera that he had not had contact with her for months.

"Since December, my brother had not been seen by the neighbors. I had no communication with him, because I live in Tirana and work. Now that I received the usual leave, I decided to come and see the house we share. When I arrived, I found him dead."

According to him, the victim did not have a phone and did not maintain regular contact with family members.

He was separated from his wife and had two children, his daughter lives abroad, while his son lives in Tirana, who was informed and headed towards Korça.

Family members explain that the 60-year-old was suffering from heart problems and was being treated with camp due to his health condition.
