Three people have been arrested in Tirana, during a police operation to crack down on drug dealers.

In three different operations, they were caught in two cases with cannabis, while the third person was arrested with cocaine.

Police announcement:

Quantities of cocaine, cannabis and cannabis seeds are seized. 3 citizens are arrested.

In implementation of the plan of measures drafted by the Tirana Local Police Directorate, for the control of the entire territory, with the aim of identifying and arresting citizens who sell narcotics or keep them in their homes, based on police intelligence, 2 citizens were arrested and put in handcuffs for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", specifically:

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 1 arrested citizen G. Xh., 49 years old, in flagrante delicto, after during a search of his apartment, the Police services found and seized a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa and a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seeds.

The same specialists arrested citizen GR, 26 years old, in flagrante delicto, after during a physical search, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance, cannabis, was found on him, which was seized as material evidence.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4 arrested citizen JC, 34 years old, resident of Tirana, in flagrante delicto, after during a physical search, a quantity of suspected cocaine was found on him, which was seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
