The Police Supervision Agency has arrested 2 police officers for violating traffic rules.

A police officer with the initials A. K, assigned to the Shqiponja Special Force, at the Saranda Police Station, has been arrested after causing an accident while driving while intoxicated.

"His arrest was carried out after, while driving a "Mercedes Benz" vehicle in the city of Saranda, he collided with a "Volkswagen" vehicle, causing material damage. The verification with the alcohol test resulted positive," informs AMP.

Also arrested was the officer with the initials HD, 53 years old, on duty as a General Patrol Officer at the Has Police Commissariat, who, driving his Volkswagen on "Demokracia" street in the city of Krumë, hit two pedestrians with the initials M. G, 43 years old, and ZG, 78 years old, who were receiving medical assistance.
