Sunday, March 5 will be a day of mourning in Albania.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, while giving the news, said that the decision was taken to honor the victims of the tragedy in Greece as a result of the collision of two trains.
"On Sunday, Albania will honor the victims of the tragedy with a day of mourning, symbolically joining friendly Greece with the national flag at half-mast," wrote Rama.
Among other things, the head of the government says that the tragedy of Greece is also our tragedy as a neighboring country.
"The tragedy of Greece is also our tragedy, the pain for the lives lost in the terrible accident is also ours and this is one of those moments in life, when a great loss to the neighbor shows more than a hundred joys that our lives are inextricably linked, and that we must do our best to make them as good as possible, cooperating more and more with each other", writes Rama.
57 people have lost their lives from the tragic railway accident that happened on Tuesday in Greece, which is the worst in the country's history. The death toll is expected to rise as authorities say 56 people are missing.
