The capital's entrances and exits are experiencing heavy traffic these days, due to the increased influx for the end-of-year holidays.

There is a serious traffic situation on the Tirana-Durres highway, mainly in Vora, where the road splits towards the north of the country but also towards Rinas airport.

At the other entrance to Tirana, from Elbasan, there are reports of long lines of cars stretching up to 7 kilometers. Many are choosing Tirana, as well as those who leave to celebrate Christmas in other cities.

Within the capital, traffic has become a nightmare for drivers for several days, due to roads being paralyzed mainly during the morning, lunch, and afternoon rush hours.
