Another incident with a sea jet took place in Durrës, resulting in the injury of a 21-year-old man from Belgium.

It is reported that the young man was performing maneuvers at the time he fell. He was immediately transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where he is in serious health condition.

Police notification:

Around 20:00, the Emergency Service of the Durrës Hospital announced that the Belgian citizen HK, 21 years old, went for medical assistance.

Immediately after the announcement, the Police services went to the hospital and from the first investigative actions it resulted that in the area of Shkembi i Kavajës, near the coast, this citizen is suspected that during the maneuvers he lost control over a boat (Jet Ski) and fell into the water.

As a result, he suffered serious injuries and was immediately transported from the Regional Hospital of Durrës to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where he is in serious health condition.

The police escorted the owner of the vessel, citizen S. Xh.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.
