Three people were arrested in Elbasan this Monday and another was declared wanted, as they are accused of having threatened the life of a businessman. They asked him to withdraw from a tender won in the Municipality of Tirana, otherwise they would kill him and his son.

According to TV Klan, the arrested, entrepreneur Shaqir Alcani, his son Algert and Edmir Boci, have not agreed to speak before the investigative group.

"Both the businessman Shaqir Alcani, his son, and the person contracted by them, Edmir Boçi, have not agreed to speak before the investigators regarding the criminal offense for which they are accused, i.e. the pressure they exerted on another businessman to withdraw from a tender that was held in October. Their only statement before the investigative group was that they will ask for a lawyer and in a second moment they will judge whether they will speak or not. But so far they have not accepted".

However, the investigative group " presented the facts that this entire operation was documented through film footage, where these people were shown accused by the police and the prosecutor's office of Elbasan, as they requested first through messages and then physically, the withdrawal from the tender, from another businessman based in Cerrik, Eral Myftaraj. It was about a tender where the value of the fund, which was approved and won by this businessman, is worth 42 million new alleks".
