Perla Cinga is a 10-year-old girl from Tirana who, despite her excellent results in foreign language lessons, is always in search of knowledge. She is learning Chinese as the language of the future as she hopes to one day become a famous scientist.

"In a psychological test, I was classified as a child genius, but this was achieved through hard work. After finishing school I go to the course every day. Every day I will have a course and by working so hard I have achieved this result."

Perla Cinga was very young when her parents realized that their daughter was special.

"I have liked science since I was 7 years old. I read encyclopedias, but at the age of 8 I focused more on chess. This is the second prize medal for girls. In fact, I also competed with boys because there were not many girls, but I won the second prize in Montenegro. Sometimes I also feel special."

She is an excellent student, has developed intelligence and is passionate about science.

"So my favorite subject does not have a specific name in Albanian. They call it 'inquarry' and here we can learn about animals, nature, science and different things. I like 'inquarry' so much because there we do different projects and learn more in that subject than in other subjects."

The 10-year-old lives in Tirana and has just completed the second level of the Chinese language.

"Hello, my name is Perla and I'm learning Chinese," says Perla in Chinese.

There is a strong reason why he chose this language.

"Because it is the language of the future. I will also learn Turkish and Japanese. Maybe in the future I can become a scientist."

Although she is only in the fifth grade, she sees herself as a neurosurgeon and scientist in the future, but outside of Albania.

"In Albania, the conditions are not so good to learn to become a scientist."

Perla has become part of the Association of Excellencies and will soon compete in important Balkan and international Olympiads.

"The association of excellence took me to continue my studies and do more Balkan Olympiads."

Recently, Perla participated in the international Kangaroo mathematics competition. Despite the hard work she does on herself every day, the 10-year-old has a message for all her peers.

"My message is: Follow your dreams."
