Judge withdraws, Supreme Court postpones decision on Ajola Xoxa and Arbër

The High Court has postponed the decision on the appeal filed by Arbër Veliaj and Ajola Xoxa, who oppose the searches carried out by decision of the GJKKO and request of SPAK in their homes and businesses on December 6 of last year.

According to the announcement on the official website of the Supreme Court, one of the 3 judges assigned to the panel has requested to be removed from the case due to incompatibility.

Ilir Panda, rapporteur, and Albana Boksi and Medi Bici, members, were the bodies that were supposed to review the appeal in the Advisory Chamber on Thursday, March 6, but which was postponed to another date.

Meanwhile, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj will appear before the Special Court of Appeal on March 11, where he will request a milder security measure than prison arrest.

On appeal, the decision will be reviewed by Judge Engert Pëllumbi, while in the first instance the decision was given by Judge Erjon Bani.
