The Vlora Police, thanks to their immediate response, managed to prevent a possible criminal incident.

According to the Blues' announcement, they learned that this Tuesday they were notified of a conflict in the village of Fitore, where a 46-year-old man had physically assaulted and threatened his cohabitant with a knife.

It was the police forces who immediately went to the scene of the incident and made it possible to arrest citizen BS, 46 years old.

The 46-year-old is suspected of physically assaulting his cohabitant in order to get her to withdraw her request for a protection order against him.

During the physical search of the 46-year-old man, at the time of his arrest, the Police services found and seized the cutting tool (knife) with which he is suspected of threatening his partner.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Threat not to report".

The rapid intervention and professional actions of the Police services prevent the escalation of a potential criminal incident in a family, in the village of Fitore. 

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and handcuffed after he physically assaulted his cohabitant and threatened her with a sharp object (a knife) to withdraw her request for a protection order against him.

The Vlora Police Commissariat services intervened immediately after receiving a report of a case of violence in a family in the village of Fitore, Novoselë administrative unit, Vlora municipality. As a result of the immediate intervention, the citizen BS, 46 years old, resident of the village of Fitore, was arrested in flagrante delicto, who is suspected of having exercised physical violence against his cohabitant and having threatened her, with a cutting instrument (knife), so that she would withdraw the request to be provided with a protection order.
