Other shocking details have come to light from the investigations regarding the murder of 19-year-old Steven Toshkesi in the capital on April 18, near the young man's apartment, where the perpetrators also ambushed him.

As previously reported, also confirmed by police sources, the cause of the serious incident was the conflict over a girl. Two 18-year-olds Ensi Maze and Axel Hoxhaj have been arrested for the incident, where the latter is suspected of having shot 19-year-old Steven Toshkes with a machete, causing his death, while the other 18-year-old Ensi Maze held the door of the car that his friend of 19-year-old Steven Toshkes not to get out of the car to hit the person who was shooting Stevens Toshkes with a machete.

The two young men arrested for the crime did not live in the area where the incident took place, which leaves doubts that the two young men had gone with the intention of hitting the 19-year-old. 

News24 reports from sources from the investigative group that 19-year-old Steven Toshkesi had a conflict over a girl with another person and not with the two 18-year-olds arrested.

Even for the investigative group, the girlfriend of the 19-year-old has stated that she was not harassed by Axel Hoxhaj, but by a friend of his. It is known that Toshkesi had a conflict with the 18-year-old citizen Arbëri Murataj, the son of Admir Murataj, who was killed in the robbery of Rinas in April 2019, where he fired a gun at the police. The cause of the conflict between Arbëri Murataj and Steven Toshkesi was a girl, with whom Toshkesi was related. According to police sources and from the investigative group, Arbëri Murataj called Toshkesi about two months ago to clarify. They met on the Elbasani street near the Ballet school, where they left the meeting to clarify. But when Toshkes went to the meeting, he was shot with a machete by 18-year-old Arbëri Murataj.

Toshkesi managed to defend himself and was slightly wounded in the abdomen and left the scene, but did not report to the police after being threatened with his life by Murataj. So, according to the investigations, the conflict started two months ago, where Toshkesi was wounded with a machete and then on April 18 he was killed with a machete by Axel Hoxhaj, who turns out to have a close family relationship with Arbëri Murataj. the person with whom Toshkesi had a conflict and with whom he had a conflict two months ago, where he was injured with a machete. Likewise, in the event of April 18, it is not yet known who drove the two perpetrators away from the scene by car. The court sentenced the two 18-year-olds to prison, also interrogated the girl, where she explained the reasons for the conflict.
