Elbasan police have arrested 26-year-old Kei Piu, who was injured yesterday evening after a fight between some young people in a bar in Elbasan.

Sources indicate that Piu is accused of trying to hide the incident, since he did not cooperate with the police officers to give the testimony about the incident. He has been charged with obstructing the discovery of the truth.

He performed the checks at the Xhaferr Kongoli hospital center in Elbasan and was escorted to the premises of the police headquarters, where he was also informed of the arrest warrant. It is known that during the testimony he stated that he was injured in the premises of the gym that he owns.

On the other hand, from its verifications, the police discovered the bar where the event took place, seizing the video footage to clarify the whole event.

The 26-year-old is not an unknown character in Elbasan, since in 2022 he escaped an assassination attempt inside a "Range Rover" type car in the center of the city, at which he was shot more than three times.
