Ramazan Rraja was arrested on Wednesday evening. He was arrested at the expense of SPAK as he is suspected of being involved in the assassination of former prosecutor Arjan Ndoj and his friend Aleksandër Laho, an event where the driver of the vehicle, Andi Maloku, was killed.

Meanwhile, details of the arrest of the much-wanted Ramazan Rraja have been revealed. He offered the police to let him go in exchange for 1 million euros.

After the intervention of the police in a bar in the Ura e Gjole area, Ramazan Rraja and Luis Konomi tried to leave through the back door and then in an armored vehicle they were driving. The encirclement of the area by the police caused them to be neutralized, while at the moment of the arrest Ramazan Rraja proposed an agreement to the police in exchange for freedom.

"I'll give you 1 million euros, just let us go," said the 30-year-old man, who had a pistol ready to fire in his belt.

Described as a person of high social risk, Rraja hid from arrest by order of SPAK for several months by taking refuge in Tirana, Durrës and Lezhë.

He is accused of being part of a criminal group that tried to execute the former prosecutor Arjan Ndoi and the citizen Aleksandër Laho, known as "Rrumi", an event where the driver of the vehicle Andi Maloku was left dead.

The SPAK file states that they were preparing for a second assassination attempt on Arjan Ndoj, Rrumi, and two other people.

According to SPAK, Rraja was involved in the organization of the assassination of the former prosecutor on account of Plarent Dervishaj. The clash between criminal groups in the city of Durrës in recent years is being carried out due to the alienation of properties in the area of Gjiri i Lalëzi.

Together with Rraja, Luis Konomi, also known by the name Elton Llozhi and the nickname "Chupja", ended up in handcuffs, who was wanted for threatening a businessman to withdraw from a tender. Ramazan Rraja was left in prison on Friday by the Special Court although he denied the charges brought by SPAK.
