MP Gazment Bardhi accused the director of the Shkodra Police, Edmond Sulaj, of being appointed by criminal gangs today from the parliament hall.

Bardhi read some messages from the coded application "SKY ECC", where according to him, two accused persons discussed that the appointment of Sulaj as the head of the police of Shkodra was in their favor.

But for the criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, something like this is untrue due to the fact that in 2021, Sulaj was not part of the police in any city in the north of the country.

Karamuço even said that Sulaj has been threatened several times by criminal groups. According to him, Sulaj destroyed 400,000 cannabis roots throughout the territory of Shkodra, removing hundreds of millions of euros from organized crime.

What has been discussed today in those political rhetorics is totally wrong. The first leader Sulaj, in 2021, has not been to any kind of city that belongs to the north of Albania, even more so to Shkodër.
