Fatal accident in Korça, the car hits the pedestrian

An accident resulting in the death of a 60-year-old man occurred on the secondary axis "Ravonik-Qatrom", in Korça.

The police said that a "Benz" type vehicle, driven by a 37-year-old man, crashed into a pedestrian, who died as a result of the collision.

"Around 7:30 p.m., on the secondary axis "Ravonik-Qatrom", the "Benz" type vehicle, driven by citizen S. Ç., 37 years old, hit the pedestrian, citizen BR, 60 years old, who as a result of the collision passed away.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the Korçë Police Station for further procedural actions.

Meanwhile, the investigative group is at the scene, where they are continuing their work to determine the cause of the accident," the police announced.
