Another operation by the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime was undertaken during the last hours of this Thursday, this time in the southeast of the country, specifically in Devoll.

As we previously reported, investigators from the National Bureau of Investigation were also engaged and conducted inspections as part of a criminal proceeding for abuse of office.

Meanwhile, new details have come to light from this operation, as it comes within the framework of a criminal proceeding that was actually initially pursued by the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office, which has executed the security measures imposed in court against three people.

According to a statement from the AMP, the GJKKO measures have been implemented against  Glodian Ahmetaj, former Branch Director at the Police Supervision Agency in the Southeast branch,  Devis Ramadan Ago , former Head of Sector at the AMP, as well as against  Klevis Hoxha , who we previously reported turns out to be the former director of the Municipal Police in Devoll, and had close social ties with Ago.

"In accordance with the court decision, the security measure "Prohibition of leaving the country" has been imposed on citizen Glodian Gëzim Ahmetaj, ordering him not to leave the territory of the Republic of Albania and to submit to the Judicial Police the valid documents that serve to cross the state border.

Citizen Klevis Hoxha has been ordered to report to the Judicial Police and to be banned from leaving the country. He is required to report to the Judicial Police on the first week of each month, on Monday, at 11:00, and to submit his travel documents as stipulated in the court decision.

Citizen Devis Ago has been ordered to report to the Judicial Police, with the obligation to report on the first week of each month, on Monday, at 12:00.

During the operation, all obligations determined by the court were executed, while by order of the proceeding authority, three house searches were also conducted with the aim of searching for and administering evidence of interest to the investigation.

Citizens Glodian Ahmetaj, former Branch Director at the Police Supervision Agency, and Devis Ramadan Ago, former Head of Sector at the AMP, are subject to this criminal proceeding and security measures imposed by the court.”
