The company " diMal Inc. " and " AMG FOOD " have officially reacted to the published news that 13.5 million pieces of meat with salmonella were sold on the market in our country.
Through the statement, the company " diMal ", owned by Mondi Goxha, states that it is not the importer of raw chicken meat and after being notified that there are suspicions of contamination of the meat, it took precautionary measures.
Further, in the statement, "diMal" adds that none of the contaminated meat lots were used in the production of products or by-products.
But, today in a statement to the media, the Director of Risk Management at the National Food Authority (AKU), Martin Jorgaqi, said that after the chicken meat was found to be contaminated with salmonella, the company did not cooperate with the authorities and did not provide accurate information about the invoices, as to which points of sale this product was distributed.
Jorgaqi said that there is no cooperation between the AKU and the company and they have not communicated about further steps.
The media has contacted the owner of the company, who has admitted that the goods (what is left) with salmonella were ordered by him.
But he adds that he cannot give an exact figure for how much he has sold on the market. The only comment he has about the situation is that he feels under pressure.
"I sold some of the imported goods, but I don't know how much. Now I'm under pressure," said Mondi Goxha.
But he doesn't give any other comment on why he violated the "philosophy" of the company he founded. Again, their official website states: "Food quality comes from the source, which is why we select the best meat and the highest quality spices for our products," Zeri writes.
With passion and dedication, we prepare original recipes to bring delicious Dimal products to the heart of every table!
And in fact, they did not stick to this philosophy for long, ignoring product control rules and giving their consumers a product with salmonella.
