The Ministry of Defense has given information about the situation from the fires in the country at noon today.

According to the Ministry of Defense, three fires are currently active in the village of Sinanaj in Tepelena, in the village of Jarua in Fieri and in Grazhdan in Finiq. These outbreaks are being kept under control and work is being done to isolate them.

The fires in Laç and Selenica of Vlora have been completely extinguished.

The situation from the fires according to the Ministry of Defense:

The Armed Forces, under the coordination of the Civil Protection Agency, during today have made it possible to finally put out the active fires in the village of Delbnisht, in the Milot Administrative Unit, Kurbin municipality.

In the crown of the city of Laçi, near the Church of Saint Anthony, where the situation was very critical since yesterday, the fires have finally been extinguished. Currently, the situation is calm and is being monitored by fire and forest service personnel.

It was also possible to put out a fire near the Milot-Lezhë highway.

In the village of Treblovë, in the municipality of Selenica, Vlorë district, the fire has been completely extinguished. Thanks to the timely intervention by helicopter, it was possible to save 4 houses.

Intensive work is being done to keep fires under control in the village of Jarua, Fier municipality, where the danger to the homes has been avoided.

In the village of Sinanaj, in the municipality of Tepelena, work is being done from the ground to isolate the hearth of the fire.

The work also continues in the village of Grazhdan, in the municipality of Finić, for the normalization of the hearth after the reactivation.
