Sisal Albania gambling company under investigation: 13 complaints for illegal

During 2015, 13 complaints were referred to the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Control of Assets and Conflict of Interest (HIDCCI) for illegal activities in the gambling, software applications and digital innovation company Sisal Albania shpk.

The complaints were referred in accordance with the law on reporting illegalities in the private and public sectors. For 6 reporting cases, the HIDACCI has completed the administrative investigation, while for 7 other cases, investigations are ongoing.

The gambling company Sisal Albania was founded in April 2019 in Tirana as a branch of the Italian company Sisal SpA, with administrators Massimo Ingrassia, Mario Martinelli and Marco Davide Festari.

The company, with an annual turnover of around 25 million euros and a profit of around 2.5 million euros, is owned by Sisal SpA, with fiscal code number 04900570963, with an address at Via Tocquenville 13 Milan, Italy.

Sisal is part of the international Flutter Entertainment group, which operates in gambling. The beneficial owner of Sisal Albania is the Irishman Edward Martin Traynor.
