The forecaster of the Military Meteorological Service, Besa Sherollari, in a direct connection with the news edition on Top Channel, has made the weather forecast for the weekend and the beginning of the week.

According to her, the weekend will be in the typical conditions of winter days. In most of the territory there will be rain, while in the northeastern and southeastern areas there will be snowfall.

"The weekend will be in the typical conditions of winter days. Unstable, but also cold air masses of polar origin will bring rain to our country on Saturday in most of the territory with medium intensity and from time to time the rain is expected to be of high intensity, mainly in the northwest and partly in the center of the country, but in the rest they are expected to be of medium intensity.

On Saturday, we will also have snowfall, which in the northeastern and southeastern mountainous areas will be at an altitude of over 200 m, while in the rest of the country, at an altitude of over 800 m, the precipitation will be in the form of snow with an intensity of low to average, but in the northeast and in the Alps precipitation is also expected to be in the form of snow storms.

Starting from Sunday, we expect an atmospheric stability which will remain on Monday, but there will be cold air masses which will bring a significant drop in temperatures. The most significant drop is expected to be in the minimum values ​​but also in the midday values, where it is expected that the temperature in the mountainous areas will be recorded up to -7 to -8 degrees Celsius, mainly on Sunday and Monday, while in the values at noon, in the mountainous areas, they should not exceed negative values, while in the low areas, the thermometer in the midday values ​​will not exceed 10 or 11 degrees Celsius.

Holidays, unfortunately the weather news, as on Tuesday we expect the penetration of unstable air masses again which will bring rainy weather to most of the country and the mountainous areas above 600-700 meters, precipitation to be in the form of snow with low to medium intensity. Even Wednesday is expected to remain with the same meteorological conditions. Rain and snow will be present until late Wednesday evening. But starting from Tuesday we expect an increase in temperatures, where in the mountainous areas they will reach 0 degrees Celsius, so we expect a significant increase in temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday", said forecaster Besa Sherollari.
