He was postponed for 12 preliminary hearings for doctor Edwin Priest. The next hearing was set on July 26 at 13.00, where the GJKKO must decide on the request of the Special Anticorruption Prosecution office for the transition or not of the file for trial.
This Thursday, the reason for postponing the hearing was made by the Special Prosecution Office.
The court postponed the hearing so that prosecutor Sotir Bralapi could specify some elements in his submissions submitted before the trial body.
On February 13 this year, SPAK closed its investigation and sent for trial to the EDVC the file on Edwin Prifti, against which he filed four charges, "passive corruption" in 7 cases, "theft committed by evading the derry", "Concealment of income" and "money laundering".
In the 5-month period, the preliminary hearing against the doctor has been postponed 12 times in the Special Anti-Corruption Court, and it is expected that on July 26 there will be a decision on this matter.
