The suspected perpetrator of the incident in the US

A shocking event shook New York City yesterday, starring an illegal immigrant from Guatemala.

A man doused a sleeping woman in gasoline and set her on fire on a New York subway train. The incident was caught on video by other passengers, but no one was able to intervene.

After setting his wife on fire, he is seen taking a few steps back and sitting there watching her burn alive. The woman did not survive.

New York police managed to identify and then arrest the perpetrator, a Guatemalan immigrant who had previously been deported and had re-entered the US illegally, as reported by the NYPost .
