The Central Election Commission in Kosovo has not certified the Serbian List for participation in the elections.

The reason for this, according to the media in Pristina, were the nationalist calls made by the leader of this political force, Zllatan Ellek, during the presentation of the electoral list.

From the beginning, the two members of the Vetëvendosje movement in the CEC, Sami Kurteshi and Alban Krasniqi, had expressed their opposition to the certification of this political entity. Kurteshi brought to attention the involvement of this list in suspicious activities, mentioning also the links to the terrorist attack in Banjska and recently in Ibër Lepenc, while Krasniqi demanded action from the State Prosecutor's Office.

Other members from the opposition have also expressed their concerns, while the representative of the Democratic Party in the CEC, Arianit Elshani, recalled that the verification of the candidate lists has gone through several institutions and none of them has given any remarks.
