The US condemns the cyber attack on the TIMS system: We are supporting Albania

The United States of America has condemned Iran's cyber attack on the TIMS system in Albania. Albania has fallen prey to the attack for the second time after the hacking of government websites by Iran on July 15.

The National Security Council in the White House, through a post on Twitter, declares that it is supporting Albania in the effort to return the system to normality.

"The United States condemns the September 9 cyber attack against our NATO ally, Albania. This malicious activity against Albania comes after the July 15 cyber attack carried out by the government of Iran. The US government is supporting Albania's efforts to mitigate the consequences of the attack and recover the system."
