Security expert Fabian Zhilla says that the cyber attack on the TIMS system in Albania is a coordinated attack by more than one country.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Žilla stated that Albanian experts have proven that the server that holds the information is located in Russia.
"It is not only Albania that is the focus of attacks, it is also Kosovo. Albanian experts have proven that the server that holds the information is located in Russia. So, we have a coordinated attack with the Russian secret services", said the expert.
According to him, the situation is critical and requires an emergency and coordinated response.
Prime Minister Edi Rama announced Saturday morning that Iranian hackers have attacked the TIMS system.
