30 tritol molds and grenades are seized in Vlora, the author is being sought

A person hid 30 tritol molds and 4 grenades out of fear of the police.

" Vlora/Intensive checks in the field, 30 molds with tritol explosives, 4 hand grenades and 2 grenade launchers are seized.

Efforts are being made to catch the citizen who hid the bag with the explosive material and the grenades, in order to evade the Police control.

In the framework of the control of the territory, the increase in the effectiveness of the work of police structures and intelligence, the services of the Vlora Police Station have continued with the detailed controls in the territory, in the city of Vlora, especially in the risk areas.

After the information provided through police intelligence, about a citizen who was moving in the "Isa Boletini" neighborhood, Vlorë, and carrying a bag in which there were suspected illegal items, the Police services, initially based on information according to which it was suspected of narcotics, they immediately went to the given address, where they blocked the entrances and exits of the neighborhood and continued the detailed control, in order to locate the suspect.

During the search in an abandoned apartment, the police services found and seized 30 molds with tritol explosives, 4 hand grenades and 2 grenade lighters, which were allegedly abandoned as a result of police pressure by the person who moved the bag in this neighborhood .

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Vlora Judicial District Court, the investigative structures of the Vlora DVP and those of the Vlora Police Station are continuing the intensive work to catch the possessor/s of the explosive device and fully clarify this case. 

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", the  announcement states.
