Operation "Fijet", 20 cameras are dismantled in Shkodër,

The police seized 20 cameras as part of the twelfth phase of the coded police operation "Fijet".

During this phase, 20 cameras installed in violation of the law were dismantled and seized in Shkodër, Korçë and Fier counties.

8 citizens were investigated, for violation of privacy and to legally document the purpose of why they had installed these cameras.

At the national level, the number of dismantled cameras is 528 and the number of citizens under investigation is 109.

Police notification

- In Shkodër, in places with high public attendance, in the "10 July", "Ndoc Mazi" and "Guerrile" neighborhoods, 10 cameras installed in violation of the country's laws were dismantled. In order to legally document the purpose of their placement, investigations have been initiated for the citizens of RZ and AB. In this district, the number of cameras dismantled so far is 89.

-In the cities of Maliq, Bilisht and Pogradec, a total of 7 cameras were dismantled and investigations were initiated for citizens ED, AB and SH and N. Ll. Citizen N. Ll. (father of the citizen E. Ll., wanted for murder) is a repeater for mounting cameras contrary to the laws of the country. Previously, 10 cameras were dismantled which were allegedly controlled by the citizen N. Ll. In total, until now, in Korça, 61 cameras have been dismantled and investigations have been initiated for 24 citizens.

-In Lushnja, 3 more cameras installed in violation of the country's laws were dismantled and investigations were initiated for the citizens of Sh.(S). K. and AK In this district, the number of cameras dismantled so far is 23 and the number of citizens for whom investigations have been initiated is 7.
