The debate about the quality of drinking water in the capital is an issue that occasionally receives the attention of the public opinion due to the denunciations and counter-reactions coming from the authorities who declare that the water in the taps is drinkable and within the standards.

An expert has also given an opinion on this issue. Her name is Franceska Korançe, environmental expert, doctorate in Italy.

In a surprising statement, Korançe says that the water in Tirana is drinkable, but according to her, the health problems caused by consumption do not lead to the loss of life.

Video taken from MCN:

" The water is drinkable, but that doesn't mean it's good. You can have health problems, but it's not that it's deadly. That's why they shoot at the thin line, do the analysis, it turns out to be drinkable," said Korançe, to be registered in following the unverified statements that are published in the media.
