Environmentalist Sazan Guri, although not being nominated by political parties, does not seem to give up his candidacy for President. Today he has submitted to the Presidency of the Assembly a request addressed to the Speaker of the Assembly Lindita Nikolas on behalf of the foundation "Our Roots", where he asks her to run for President.

The request states that Sazan Guri does not have the slightest stain on his "biography".

"Based on the past without the slightest stain in relations with public funds; without the slightest habit of bribery with students, businesses and citizens and without the slightest problem in the family and social relations with Albanian compatriots:
Decided:
To bring You, as the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, apply for candidacy as an independent person, civilian, scientist, professor, lawyer, but above all as a patriot, for President of the Republic of Albania, Prof. Sazan GURI. " - it is said in the request addressed to Nikolla.

Along with the request, Sazan Guri has submitted a CV of his where in the following video it is stated that it contains about 100 pages.
