Police arrested a 25-year-old man in Pogradec on Tuesday evening. Fabian Muçollari, from Vërdova, Pogradec, had been under investigation by field agents for several weeks.

At the time of the arrest, the 25-year-old was found and seized with a firearm and a quantity of drugs.

Fabian Muçollari is not an unknown name for the police of Pogradec and Korça, as in 2017 the young man killed his peer Fabio Hila with an automatic firearm.

Muçollari has been serving his sentence at the Drenova Penitentiary Institution for about 7 years for this criminal offense and had recently left his prison cell.

Operation to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics and illegal possession of weapons.

During the operation codenamed "Cold Hand", 1 package of cocaine, 2 firearms, combat ammunition, a metal bat, a sum of money and a vehicle were seized.

The police arrest their owner, previously convicted of "Murder" and "Attempted Murder."

As a result of the maximum commitment of the services of the Korça Local Police Directorate and the uninterrupted work, thanks to the cooperation with the citizens, for a citizen who possessed firearms and distributed narcotics in the city of Pogradec, a citizen with a criminal record, the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, the Serious Crimes and Eagles Section, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Cold Hand".

During the operation, the Operational Services of the Korça DVP arrested and handcuffed citizen Fabian Muçollari, 27 years old, resident of Pogradec, with social danger.

During the physical search, vehicle search and apartment search in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, citizen FM was found in a handbag with a metal bar with the inscription "Police", 2 pistol firearms, 1 silencer, 3 combs, 1 metal stick, a package of suspected cocaine, 5 mobile phones, 2 bank cards, 1 biometric passport and a sum of money (lek, euros and Australian dollars).
His vehicle was also seized.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça, for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unlicensed production and possession of combat weapons and ammunition" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".
