Yesterday, the Central Election Commission completed the recount of votes for 94 polling centers in the Elbasan district, belonging to Peqin and Gramsh, following the decision taken by the KAS during the review of the appeal of the PD-ASHM coalition.

The verification of these boxes revealed several problems, where in 15 cases, the ballots had one stamp and not two. It was also noted that some boxes were missing unused ballots, and it turned out that in some cases people whose names were not on the voter list voted.

Meanwhile, the recount of votes for 1282 polling centers for the Tirana region will begin today, while it will then continue with 587 centers in the Fier region and 360 ballot boxes in Durrës.

A total of 2,323 ballot boxes from the May 11 elections will be recounted.
