Safet Gjici has addressed the Elbasan Court from prison with the request to be released.

Journalist Anila Hoxha informs that the case has been assigned to Elbasan judge Suela Lika, who has informed the parties about the session to be held on October 14. In the request, the former mayor of Kukës did not give any reasons as to why he should leave the prison.

But in an investigation conducted by Anila Hoxha, it turns out that immediately after submitting the request, Gjici requested to go to the hospital, which it is suspected that he will use as a card to leave the prison for health reasons.

Many prisoners have used this trick before, but with the changes in the justice reform, the health condition of the convict is not an argument to leave the prison.
