The "Butrinti" ship of the Albanian Coast Guard has engaged in a rescue operation for 55 migrants, which was carried out in the Aegean Sea together with a Turkish and a Greek ship.
It is the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, who through a post on Facebook announces that the ship 'Butrinti' once again showed high professionalism in its mission in the Aegean waters, where it has been stationed for some time.
"Together with a Greek and a Turkish ship, the team of the 'Butrinti' ship rescued 55 migrants from a dinghy in difficulty. In this rescue operation, the FA operatives showed their steadfast commitment to preventing the loss of people's lives and their willingness to help in such emergency situations," writes Peleshi.
